A guide to Tuesday meditation
Free community meditation at Sacred Ground is Tuesday nights, 7:00–8:00 PM Central, at 160 W Campbell St in Arlington Heights. It is not a class you buy. It is an hour you attend.
Why the weekly hour is worth keeping
A single sit can feel like a nice pause. A Tuesday you can count on is different. The same room, the same hour, other people who also put their phones down. That repetition is what lets a nervous system learn the way back to quiet. You do not have to be good at it. You have to show up more than once.
People use the hour for stress, for a first try, for company, or to land after a reading or a bodywork session earlier in the week. None of those reasons is more correct than the others.
What happens in the room
Doors close at 7:05 PM. Come early enough to sit down before that. There are chairs and cushions. A rotating practitioner guides. One week may be breath, another visualization, sound, or silence. No reservation. No experience. The public card is on the calendar, and the longer note is on the meditation page.
This is separate from a private meditation or energy session you book with one practitioner on another day. Those have a length and a price. Tuesday night does not.
