Trevor Hall was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, and raised on an island in South Carolina. He studied classical guitar at Idyllwild School for the Arts and signed to Geffen Records while still in high school. His music fuses roots, folk, and reggae with themes of spirituality and Eastern mysticism. His song “Other Ways” appeared on the Shrek the Third soundtrack, and his 2011 album Everything Everytime Everywhere charted on the Billboard 200. Later releases include KALA (2015), In and Through the Body (2020), and Trevor Hall and the Great In-Between (2023).
