Slow Meadow
Slow Meadow is the ambient chamber-music project of Houston-based musician Matt Kidd, who began as a touring and session musician in the early 2000s. Encouraged by Marc Byrd of the band Hammock, Kidd signed to Hammock Music and released the self-titled Slow Meadow debut in 2015, composing serene, wistful pieces for strings, piano, and electronic textures. Later albums include Costero (2017), Happy Occident (2019), By the Ash Tree (2020), and Upstream Dream (2021); his track “Lachrymosia” was sampled by 6LACK.
