Why this artist belongs in Sacred Sounds: A Grammy-nominated, multi-tradition flutist whose documented status as the first non-Native artist signed to Canyon Records makes him a clear, well-sourced example of cross-cultural contemporary flute work distinct from tribally-affiliated artists on the same label.
