Liquid Mind (Chuck Wild)
Recording name of Chuck Wild (born 1946, Kansas City), a classically trained pianist (12 years of training) who moved to Los Angeles in 1979 and became synthesist for Capitol Records group Missing Persons, touring internationally for four years, and later a staff songwriter for Warner/Chappell Music. The Liquid Mind series began in 1994 as Ambience Minimus, born from his own struggle with panic attacks and anxiety while co-scoring the TV series Max Headroom, and influenced by Brian Enos ambient work. Now 19 albums deep, the series is explicitly designed as therapeutic sedative music for relaxation, meditation, and sleep, with multiple releases reaching number 1 on iTunes New Age chart.
