Hinako Omori is a Japanese-born, London-based artist who moved to the UK at age three, studied classical piano and sound engineering, and has performed and recorded with artists including Ed OBrien (Radiohead), Kae Tempest, Georgia, and KT Tunstall. Her own work builds immersive ambient-synthesizer and vocal soundscapes rooted in analogue synths, processed voice, and field recording. Her debut album, a journey… (Houndstooth, 2022), explicitly incorporated therapeutic frequencies, forest bathing, and binaural sound design; her second, stillness, softness… (2023), mapped an emotional and subconscious landscape through synthesizer work.
