Born April 10, 1974, in Hampshire, England, Helen Jane Long began classical piano training at four and later added clarinet, guitar, cello, vocals, organ, and violin. In 2003 she worked as music assistant to Howard Shore on The Lord of the Rings trilogy score. Known as the worlds highest-streaming female pianist, with more than a billion streams, her albums include Embers (2010) and Porcelain (Warner Music Group), along with her 2020 solo collection SOLUS.
