Born March 26, 1975, in Morganton, North Carolina, Chad Lawson studied at Berklee College of Music before touring with Babik Reinhardt and Julio Iglesias band. His fifth album, The Chopin Variations (2014), reached number one on Billboards Top Classical Albums chart. A Steinway artist, Lawson also composes for the podcasts Lore and Unobscured, and hosts his own iHeartRadio-nominated podcast, Calm It Down, which explores meditation and mental health through his music.
