Suzanne Ciani
Italian-American composer Suzanne Ciani (b. 1946), known as The Diva of the Diode, was among the first women to build a career in electronic music, working with pioneering Buchla synthesizer designer Don Buchla in the 1970s before scoring commercials for Coca-Cola and AT&T. Her 1982 solo debut Seven Waves became a landmark New Age recording, and she has since earned five Grammy nominations for Best New Age Album.
