Akira Kosemura
Born in 1985 and raised in Tokyo, Akira Kosemura began piano at age three and is entirely self-taught as a composer. He began his recording career in 2007, scoring for film, TV, games, and stage, and runs his own label, SCHOLE. His piano-centered work spans ambient, modern classical, and minimalism, with albums including Tiny Musical (2008), Grassland (2010), In the Dark Woods (2017), and Diary 2016-2019 (2019); in 2023 he made his debut with the classical label Decca.
