About Sacred Ground

“Out of darkness comes the light.”

Sacred Ground opened on December 4, 2021, during a time when the world felt uncertain and many people were simply trying to find their footing. What began as a small retail shop quickly became something more—a place people could walk into, breathe, ask questions, and feel a little less alone.

Since opening, Sacred Ground has grown and moved three times, each expansion shaped by the community that continued to show up. Today, we are grateful to call 160 W. Campbell Street in downtown Arlington Heights our home—a space that finally allows the shop and its offerings to fully unfold.

Sacred Ground is intentionally brick-and-mortar. It’s a place to take your time, touch the stones, have real conversations, and explore what supports you right now. We carry carefully selected rocks and crystals, along with trusted, earth-based remedies such as Edgar Cayce products, castor oil packs, and other natural tools people have turned to for generations.

In the wake of the pandemic, where many grapple with varying degrees of PTSD and grief, our store serves as a haven, offering the Earth’s most natural resources in healing energies, such as rocks and crystals. Complementing these offerings are a diverse array of holistic remedies, including Edgar Cayce products and castor oil packs.

Sacred Ground began in a moment of darkness, and it continues because of the light—shared, steady, and very real.
