Book Now →About Sacred Ground
You Really Have to Experience This Place.
Sacred Ground is part crystal shop, part treasure hunt, part Holistic Center—and a little hard to explain until you’ve walked through the doors yourself.
Located in downtown Arlington Heights, every room holds something different: incredible crystals and minerals, jewelry, unusual gifts, books, incense, wellness finds, local art, and things you probably didn’t know existed.
Crystals are where it all began. Deneene personally hand-selects everything from beautiful everyday stones and tumbles to rare minerals, statement pieces, thumbnails, and collector-quality specimens. Whether it’s your first crystal or you’re a serious rockhound, give yourself time to wander.
And Then Keep Walking…
Beyond the shop is our Holistic Center, alive with Reiki, massage, reflexology, sound healing, meditation, Tarot, astrology, mediumship, energy work, classes, workshops, circles, and community gatherings. Each week you’ll also find free Angel readings and free community meditations—led by a different guide each week—plus a host of other free community events throughout the month.
You don’t need to understand any of it before you arrive.
Curiosity is enough.
Some people come to shop. Some come searching for answers, healing, connection, or community. Others walk in simply because something told them to.
Whatever brings you here, come experience Sacred Ground for yourself.
Pick up the crystals. Smell the incense. Peek down the hallway. Ask questions. Stay longer than you planned.
You may come looking for one thing.
Don’t be surprised if you find something else entirely.
Curious About Energy & Holistic Healing?
Maybe you’ve heard about Reiki on a podcast, seen sound healing or meditation on TV, noticed crystal bracelets on your favorite actors, or had a friend share an experience that made you wonder.
Or maybe you can’t explain it. Something is simply drawing you to explore.
So, What Is “Energy”?
You’ve already felt it. You walk into a room and sense tension before anyone speaks. Someone’s presence makes you feel peaceful—or drained. Music changes your mood. Nature settles something inside you.
For thousands of years, cultures around the world have explored these connections and different ways of bringing ourselves back into balance.
Sometimes Life Is Heavy
Stress. Change. Relationships. Responsibilities. And grief—the loss of a loved one, a pet, a relationship, a home, a job, a dream, or the life you thought you would have.
Sometimes we simply need somewhere to stop, breathe, receive, and reconnect with ourselves.
That might be Reiki, massage, reflexology, sound healing, meditation, energy work—or something you haven’t discovered yet.
You Don’t Have to Believe Anything
You can be spiritual, religious, neither, or somewhere in between. You don’t need to understand Reiki to experience it or know anything about sound healing to feel a singing bowl move through you.
There is nothing you have to make happen.
Curiosity is enough.
Maybe you’re searching. Maybe you’re healing. Maybe you’re asking bigger questions. Or maybe you’ll simply walk through our doors because something inside you says, “Go in.”
Come see what’s here.
Come curious. Explore what resonates. Discover what speaks to you.
With love and curiosity,
Deneene

Inside the Healing Arts at Sacred Ground
At Sacred Ground, healing begins with understanding. We offer more than sessions and classes—we create opportunities to learn the healing arts before choosing them.
Through free community education nights, practitioner conversations, and curated gatherings, our community gains insight into how different modalities work, what they feel like, and who they’re for.
This approach builds trust naturally. Many people meet practitioners in a community setting, return for a class, and later choose to work with them privately—already informed, comfortable, and aligned.
Sacred Ground is a place to explore healing with clarity, curiosity, and confidence. ✨ Learn before you commit ✨ Connect before you choose ✨ Healing as education
