Renee
Reiki Master Practitioner · Energy & Intuitive HealingHelping people reconnect with peace, balance, and themselves — one quiet session at a time.
Healing isn’t becoming someone new. It’s remembering who you’ve always been.
I came to this work through my own healing. Living with chronic colitis and recovering from several stomach surgeries, I spent a long time searching for relief — and Reiki gave me a gentleness I hadn’t found anywhere else.
That experience is why I do this. As my studies deepened, I was drawn toward Holy Fire Karuna Reiki, shamanic studies, symbolism, meditation, and personal spiritual exploration — all of which shaped how I hold space for people today.
Mostly, I love sitting with people in the moment they finally let themselves slow down. There’s nothing you need to prepare and nothing you need to believe. You’re welcome exactly as you are.
People, before anything else.
Having spent years inside my own healing, I don’t see myself as someone with all the answers — just someone who gets to sit beside you while you reconnect with your own.
Watching someone exhale, soften, and remember they’re allowed to rest — that quiet moment is the whole reason I do this. Reiki is simply the doorway I use to help you get there.
Two Ways to Begin
Every session is one-on-one and unhurried. Whether we’re in the same room or miles apart, the intention is the same: to help your body and mind find their way back to balance.
In-Person Reiki
A calming, hands-on session in a quiet, candlelit space. You rest fully clothed on a treatment table while gentle energy work helps your nervous system settle and rebalance.
Book In-PersonDistance Reiki
Wrap up in a blanket at home, a cup of tea nearby, and receive the same intentional energy work from wherever you are. Many clients are surprised by how deeply connected and restorative it feels.
Book DistanceCome, and let yourself rest.
You arrive, and we spend a few quiet minutes talking about what brought you here.
Then you lie down comfortably on the treatment table — fully clothed, usually under a soft blanket. You simply rest while Reiki gently supports your body’s natural ability to find balance. Some people feel warmth or a soft tingling. Some feel emotion rise and release. Some drift into the deepest relaxation they’ve had in years.
Every session is different.
Every session meets you exactly where you are.
The Questions People Are Afraid to Ask
If it’s your first time, you’re in good company — here are the things most people wonder about.
I’ve never tried Reiki. What do I do?
Nothing at all. You don’t need any experience, technique, or belief. You arrive, settle in, and rest — I’ll guide everything from there.
Do I stay fully clothed?
Always. Reiki is done fully clothed. You’ll lie comfortably on a treatment table, usually with a soft blanket over you.
What if I don’t feel anything?
That’s completely okay. Some people feel warmth or calm right away; others simply rest. The work supports your body either way.
Is Reiki connected to a religion?
No. Reiki isn’t tied to any religion or belief system. You’re welcome exactly as you are, with whatever you do or don’t believe.
Can Reiki really be done from a distance?
Yes. Distance sessions work with the same intention as in-person ones, and many clients are surprised by how connected and restorative they feel from home.
How will I feel afterward?
Most people leave feeling lighter, calmer, and grounded. I’ll always leave a little time at the end so you’re never rushed back out the door.

My Journey
Where It Began
Living with chronic colitis and recovering from several stomach surgeries, I spent years learning what it truly means to search for relief — and how much the body softens when it’s finally met with gentleness.
Discovering Reiki
Receiving Reiki was such a profound healing for me that I knew I wanted to learn it — not only for my own wellness, but to bring that same comfort to people in my community.
Reiki Practitioner
Formal training in the fundamentals — learning to hold steady, attentive space and let the work move gently through it.
Reiki Master Practitioner
Master-level certification in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition — a deepening of both skill and trust in the process.
Advanced & Personal Study
Alongside advanced Reiki coursework — including Holy Fire Karuna Reiki — I explored shamanic studies, symbolism, meditation, and personal spiritual practice that shaped how I work today.
Still Learning, Still Healing
I continue my own healing through sound baths, yoga, and other gentle modalities — and I hope to one day bring Reiki into medical and hospital settings, alongside care teams, because I believe so deeply in this work. Most of all, I love helping others reconnect with themselves.
