Bite-Sized Lifewith Sally
Small lessons, soft laughs, and stories that don’t overwhelm.
Ordinary people talking about ordinary stuff.
Meet Sally
Sally Wright Bacon is a New Hampshire storyteller, memoirist, painter, and jewelry artist who believes the best conversations happen over coffee. With her beloved poodles Arlo and Petey as her constant companions (and occasional co-hosts), she’s spent a lifetime collecting the kind of wisdom that doesn’t fit on a bumper sticker but might just change your day.
Sally has spent a lifetime in retail, owning Oodles and collecting stories the way some people collect postcards. Her days behind the counter have fine tuned her ears to the quiet truths people share when they think no one’s really listening—and trust me, she’s been listening. She’s gathered life in small, human moments, and now she wants to pass those stories along, not as grand lessons but as little reminders that we’re all figuring it out one small dose at a time. It’s not the kind of wisdom that fits on a bumper sticker—but it just might shift your day.
Now, through “Bite-Sized Life,” she’s inviting ordinary people to talk about ordinary stuff: what makes you belly laugh until your mascara runs, what keeps you staring at the ceiling at 3am, why your husband suddenly has opinions about the spice rack now that he’s retired, and whether partners should really live next door to each other (she has thoughts).
No politics. No pretense. Just people being wonderfully, messily human—with a poodle or two photobombing the conversation.
Let’s Talk About It

What Makes You Belly Laugh?

When Your Husband Retires…
Suddenly he’s reorganizing your spice rack. Let’s discuss survival strategies.
Partners Should Live Next Door
Close enough to share sugar, far enough to miss each other. Revolutionary?
